Champagne-centric a'Bouzy opens tomorrow morning - what to know before you pop a bottle at the bubbly, buzzy concept.

2300 Westheimer

1. It's pronounced "Ah boozy." Named for Bouzy, a renowned wine village in the Champagne region of France.

2. Shawn Virene, best known for piloting Brasserie 19's revolutionary below-retail wine program, is the owner.

3. There are more than 1,000 bottles of wine on the list, including tons of sparkling. Bottles start at $12.

4. There's a full menu - expect upscale seafood, oysters, caviar, a raw bar and American dishes with a French twist.

5. You can make a meal out of the truffled fries cooked in duck fat.

6. The decor is sleek and white and a nod to coastal vacation spots on the Mediterranean.

7. A bottle of Veuve Clicquot is $47, about the price at H-E-B. To keep the bottles flowing, there's very little markup on any wine or champagne.

8. You'll spot a giant replica of a yellow Veuve gift box at the valet stand, custom made by local Merchant and Market.

9. Look up. The ceiling is covered with artistic glass ball bubbles.
