Tidbits is currently seeking experienced advertising and group buying sales executives who will be responsible for developing and sustaining strong partner relationships with national brands relevant to the Tidbits audience. Most important, Tidbits Sales Executives are creative marketers who work with the Tidbits executive team to provide solutions and ideas to help Tidbits advertisers create impactful, successful multi-media campaigns.
Requirements:
- 2-7 plus years of advertising/deals sales experience
- Digital advertising sales experience preferred
- Ability to work independently under little supervision

Tidbits’ editorial content is selected locally. The Tidbits intern has a manicured finger on the city’s pulse and is responsible for helping to select content, planning high-end reader events and networking within her community to grow the Tidbits brand. Photography, public relations, marketing and design internships are also available.
The Tidbits intern will focus on a variety of activities geared towards building the Tidbits’ local presence including:
1. Help source premium, relevant content ideas across a variety of gal-friendly categories (Eat & Sip, Shop, Nest, etc.) and source related photography.
2. Grow awareness of the Tidbits brand through targeted relationships, personal networks and marketing campaigns.
3. Use technology and modern marketing techniques to manage the local Tidbits social media presence including Twitter and Facebook. Identify new methods for socializing and distributing Tidbits content, reaching gals where they spend the most time with tips and scoop that matters most to them.
4. Assist with reader events by securing and collecting swag bag donations, facilitating RSVP lists and check-in, photographing events and event logistics.
5. Partner with charitable organizations, campus groups, young professional groups and other entities on promotional opportunities to grow subscribership.
6. Write editorial content keeping Tidbits’ style in mind; Interview local celebrities and business owners when necessary.
7. Contribute to contact management systems; Assist with administrative duties.

Sharpening her stilettos in an effort to create a definitive guide to what’s hip and new in local cuisine, bars, fashion, beauty, travel and events, the local Tidbits contributor wants readers to love and discover her city like she does.
Tidbits’ city-specific websites and social media networks house all the “inside scoop,” from archived Tidbits and local deals and giveaways to celebrity Q&As and thoughtful content from guest contributors who are an eclectic mix of local style leaders and influencers.

2. As the “face of Tidbits,” introduce Tidbits brand to marketplace through targeted relationships with personal contacts, business owners, public relations and marketing firms, media outlets, college students (if applicable), and local influencers and style leaders.
3. Build Tidbits audience through editorial news and blog coverage, targeted trades, local businesses’ e-blasts, and presence at local events.
4. Use technology and modern marketing techniques to manage the local Tidbits social media presence including Twitter and Facebook presence. Identify new methods for socializing and distributing Tidbits content, reaching gals where they spend the most time with tips and scoop that matters most to them.
The Tidbits Market Leader will be highly motivated, energetic and have some or all of the following experience:
1 A bachelor’s degree with relevant coursework.

2. 2-3 years experience in the media industry developing content, writing in a professional capacity and working within an editorial organization to deliver high-quality content on deadline
3. Well-connected and entrenched within the local community including being a member of various charitable, philanthropic or society-based organizations
4. Demonstrated awareness, aptitude and capabilities with web platforms and web technology including Twitter, Facebook, blogging platforms, etc.
5. An excellent writer, communicator, and networker
6. A person of the utmost integrity and character
