You got into a scrap at yoga when someone tried to take “your” mat and your signature bob is making you the next Anna Wintour—in a blah-not-bitchy way. You’ve become so predictable.
Break out of boring and find your happy ending at Bliss, the brand-new hot spot that’s giving classic cuisine a hip check. Get experimental in a gas station transformed into a sleek space with gorgeous lofted ceilings, a communal chef’s table and a serious meat slicer that’s one of only 12 in the world. Chef Mark Bliss, of Biga and Silo fame and recently back from a sojourn in Cali, turns out inventive dishes like a lobster roll piled high with cheddar and foie gras. Even the dessert menu’s sweet nothings like salted caramel popcorn are anything but expected.
Hurry—do something crazy before the palm readers in SouthTown decide your future is too bleak to seek.
