You’ve learned the hard way there are things that don’t mix with nice furniture. Like red wine, spray tans and last night’s makeup after a less than stellar make out session.
Avoid stains on the best seat in the house by investing in a piece from local big-deal designer Elizabeth Walker Carrington. The competitive snow boarder and graphics guru (she’s worked with Coors, Travelocity and other big hitters) turns out lust-worthy artwork and chairs, incorporating everything from baroque designs to graffiti. Her pieces have gathered buzz of late, on display at Neiman Marcus and City Hall.
Sit pretty. Beware of razor nicks.
Available at Sloan/Hall and Parchman Stremmel Gallery.
