Dogs are allowed to be impolite. They can itch a scratch, no matter how inappropriate. Scarfing down food and peeing in public? It’s all part of the charm.
The canine can get away with anything, but the wiener dog looks the cutest doing it. With a comically long body and short stubby legs, surely dachshunds know they’re the cutest hounds in the heap. Let one jump on your furniture, by way of young local artist Lisa Mittler. She’s conquered just about every medium – from photography to metal art and jewelry making – but we can’t get enough of her puppy pillows, each made in one-of-a-kind vibrant fabric and contrasting ears.
